Adelaide Crows captain Taylor Walker has refused to rule himself out of the Crows' Round 7 clash against Carlton.

Tex went to the bench last Saturday night after feeling some discomfort in his hamstring against the Suns, taking no further part in the game.

But speaking to Roo and Ditts on Triple M Adelaide this morning, the key forward refused to rule himself out completely of the Crows' Saturday night clash against the Blues at Adelaide Oval, he did however said he would "err on the side of caution".

"I had a scan and there is a little bit of irritation around the spot I was a bit sore," Tex told Roo and Ditts on Triple M Adelaide.

"So we did err on the side of caution on Saturday night, and hopefully I'll jump over a few hurdles and tick a few boxes and pull up okay to play against Carlton."
