Fresh of a stirring victory over Richmond, Adelaide Crows captain Taylor Walker joined Roo and Ditts for his regular spot on Triple M Adelaide.

Tex spoke about the weird lead-up to Thursday night's blockbuster against the Tigers, with a lot of talk surrounding the Crows' pre-season mindfulness camp.

He also gave Triple M listeners an insight into round two's NAB Rising Star nominee Tom Doedee, with the third year Crow relishing his chance on the main stage.

However the biggest talking point to come out of Tex's chat with Roo and Ditts, was the severity of gun midfielder Matt Crouch's hamstring injury - with the ball magnet going down with injury during Adelaide's 36-point win.

"I suppose it would probably be 3-4 weeks," Tex told Roo and Ditts.

"Yeah (it's a reasonable amount of time), but most hamstrings are."

David Mackay will also be touch and go for Adelaide's clash with St Kilda at Etihad Stadium on Saturday night after suffering concussion following an incident with Tiger Josh Caddy.
