It will go down as the most iconic moment in one of the NRL's greatest ever Grand Finals.

Johnathan Thurston kicking the winning field goal in golden point to claim the Cowboy's first premiership is already etched in NRL history and often causes us to forget about Thurston's missed sideline conversion after THAT Kyle Feldt try levelled the scores with no time left.

But the story J.T told this morning on The Big Breakfast about an exchange with Broncos legend and water boy Alfie Langer whilst he was lining up to kick, ensures that moment too will forever be a part of footy folklore.

Listen below:

J.T joined Marto, Robin and the Moonman to discuss his new book Johnathan Thurston: The Autobiography, also revealing his favourite meal, movie and opponent and why the Brisbane Broncos inadvertently made him one of the greatest to ever play the game.
