Billy Slater will tonight confront one of his toughest ever opponents when he faces off with the NRL judiciary.

Slater is looking to have his shoulder charge ban thrown out so he can take the field in his final game, the 2018 NRL Grand Final against the Roosters on Sunday.

His former Queensland teammate Justin Hodges knows exactly what it feels like to be suspended for the big dance and told The Big Breakfast what he went through in 2015 before the Broncos V Cowboys decider.
