Army Soldiers Told To Not Use Gender Nouns Like “Him” or “Her” AAP

Speaking with the Triple M Grill Team this morning, Jack Howton of The Daily Telegraph has talked through today’s front page story of the Australian Defence Force telling soldiers to use alternatives to “Him” or “Her” in everyday speech opting instead for gender neutral terms.

This new guideline has come to light in a new offical guide that has suggested it may be considered “bullying” against gender neutral identities.

You kind of embark upon a question of compelled speech when you start forcing people to use certain terms and certain phrases.
