There are rumours that plans are underway for the long awaited hybrid super match between the Kangaroos and the All Blacks to finally take place in 2019.
Phil Franks, who is that man behind the push, told the Triple M Grill Team “we are as close as we’ve ever been.”
"The biggest problem has been finding a window. Each codes number one priority is their respective code."
“It’s getting very close, it’s going to happen for sure, whether its 2019 or earlier who knows.”
There are reports that a hybrid rugby game is forecast to earn over $50 million with the All Blacks and the Kangaroos to be paid $10 million each.
