NSW Women's Origin player Maddie Studdon has spoken to the Grill Team after the big win last week, and opened up about having to quit her job in order to pursue her career as a professional footballer.
Maddie previously worked as a shift worker on the docks, driving a truck for 8-hours.
However, commitments to footy meant that she had to give this away - and now we're trying to link up any potential employers with her in order to give her some options.
"Obviously us women have grown up always having to have a job and then play footy on the side," Maddy said.
"We do work hard and also have priorities."
"I watched her play for the first time last year and I was blown away by her talent," Matty said after the interview.
"I turned and said to my two boys 'the way she playmakes is as good as anyone in the NRL."
