Matty Johns has broken down all of the recent player moves, and more to come for the Triple M Grill Team.

"Nathan Cleary from my understanding hasn’t committed to the club [Panthers] yet. Now Phil Gould has stated that this young man is the future of the Penrith Panthers." said Matty Johns.

"Now his dad [Ivan Cleary] left the Panthers under controversial circumstances... I’m not saying that Ivan is going to sour the club… but there’s no doubt that blood is thicker than water"

"There are a lot of people out there that believe that Nathan Cleary could end up in the Tigers."

On Mitchell Pearce's move to the Newcastle Knights Matty says

"Yesterday he did a 2km time trail which all the players have to do… and he was the quickest tin the club”

"There’s no doubt Mitchell steps on Brock’s [Lamb] toes a little bit, because Brock assumed he was the chief play maker of the side. But it gives a lot of flexibility to Nathan Brown, there’s a couple of people competing to be the halves partner of Mitchell Pearce. One is Connor Watson who we believe will get first crack. The good thing about these 2 players is they are entirely different. Brock Lamb is a beautiful playmaker he finesses the ball really really nice, where as Connor Watson is a bull at a gate, he runs the ball real well."
