A lacklustre performance in round one against the Panthers, a shellacking at the hands of rivals Manly in round two and being outclassed by the Sharks in round three has already left the Eels in panic mode so early into the season.

Despite have a lethal backline consisting of Jennings, Hayne, Norman and Moses to name a few, the Eels have lacked creativity and finesse in the final third of the field.

In fact, In the last 200 minutes of football, the Eels have ONLY scored 4 points, yet have conceded 98.

Despite showing promise at the back-end of last year, the halves combination of Moses and Norman is just not working in 2018.

Triple M Grill Team's Matty Johns believes the problem could lie in Eels coach Brad Arthur giving equal rights to his number 6 and 7.

Matty truly believes modern football needs only one chief playmaker.
