While there has been no offical word yet, there is speculation that Laurie Daley could step down from his role as NSW Blues head coach after another series loss.
The Triple M Grill Team's MG was asked if Daley did step down, who would he want to see as his replacement.
Without skipping a beat MG said "Phil Gould... He's the most successful NSW coach there is... He knows what he's talking about."
Matty Johns agreed "Gus HAS to be involved again... they've got to find a way to get him involved" in some capacity.
On the head coaching role Matty says "I really think Andrew [Johns] can do it... Pressure is good for Andrew... Pressure brings out the best in Andrew."
Listen to MG and Matty's full reasons why Gus and Joey would be the best choice.
