“There’s Been A Gradual Slide With Souths… This Year They Rebound.”

Season 2018 of the NRL is fast approaching, so Matty Johns is previewing every team and their chances.

Today it's the South Sydney Rabbitohs.

Listen to the full preview here.

“I expect South to make the eight this year.” said Matty Johns

"They pick up Gagai. Dane Gagai is a great player. Let’s not forget he was player of the state of origin series last year, and he’s a double dimension player.”

“Often times outsides backs are either metre eaters, or they’re give them the ball early and let them play. He’s both."

“Farrah had a great World Cup and I sense a change in robes attitude after working with Freddy fitter… so I think they’ll get a bit more value out of Farrah this year than they did last year”

“New coach, new style. Michael McGuire was a great coach and will forever be a legend at South Sydney, he won them they’re first comp since ’71, but there’s no doubt souths needed a change.”

“There’s been a gradual slide with Souths… this year they rebound.”
