Triple M's Brian Taylor has explained what it was like moving from Richmond to Collingwood, saying the feeling is "a bit funny" even now.

BT EXPLAINS:

BT made the move from Richmond to Collingwood at the end of 1984, the two clubs who'll meet in Friday night's preliminary final at the MCG.

He joined Triple M's Hot Breakfast on Wednesday to say the feeling was a little strange, even now.

"You feel a bit funny," he explained.

"Right to today, I feel like when you run into a Dale Weightman or a Michael Roach, who I'm really good mates with, any of those guys, you do feel like you've, not let them down, but you've sort of walked out on them.

"There is that sort of little bit of division there. You definitely don't feel fantastic about it."

But - as Eddie McGuire joked - BT said he made a good choice.

"I wouldn't be doing what I do now in the media if I didn't go to the Collingwood Football Club," he said.
