Two weeks ago, AFL champion Chris Judd appeared in a video at the Portsea Polo where he rode on the shoulders of loving fans as he belted out a classic Aussie tune.
Joining Triple M's The Hot Breakfast this morning, Juddy dropped by to explain the incident - as witnessed by Luke Darcy.
LISTEN TO THE AUDIO HERE:
"It's a spiritual day," explained Judd.
"I first went to the polo 11 years ago and I remember wearing a truckers hat and Nike Air Max's and I got laughed out of there.
"Rich kids from Scotch and Melbourne Grammar looked down on me and said 'you'll never make it at the polo' - and I said, 'let's see about that'.
"This year, I looked around and those same people carried me on their shoulders as Johnny Farnham came on."
Watch the classic clip here:
"It's a special day," Juddy reflected.
Wil Anderson asked Juddy who won the polo on the day - to which the two-time Brownlow medallist replied: "Polo was the real winner that day."
