Eddie 'Lashes Out' After Dropping 4 Places In The AFL's Most Influential List

Just before ending the show this morning, Mick Molloy revealed to The Hot Breakfast team the results of the AFL's 'Most Influential' list for 2017.
And for Eddie McGuire, it was a bit of a rough read...
With Luke Darcy and comedian Wil Anderson sitting in the studio, Mick dropped the bombshell to much laughter:
"The AFL have brought out their list of the most powerful people again," Mick said.
"Last year you were number 2 - now you’re number 6."
"And guess who’s number 5… Caroline Wilson."
Darce claimed that Mick shouldn't have thrown that hand grenade into the room, while Wil suggested that it could be Mick's last day of broadcasting.
"But the big news is Caro up the order, McGuire slips from 2 to 6," Mick continued.
"What happened Ed - you used to be a big hitter in this town?" Darce asked to the Collingwood president.
Eddie responded: "Imagine if she wrote for a paper that anyone read."
"Imagine if she broadcast to someone who didn’t have a hearing aid!"
With the team in hysterics, Darcy said they shouldn't have expected anything less.
"If you put him in a corner he just lashes out!" he said.
