Collingwood skipper Scott Pendlebury was in 'hot water' yesterday following a Tweet ahead of the introduction of AFLX last night.
Pendlebury posted a poll on Twitter asking "Who’s looking forward to footy being back on the screens tonight" - with many followers alerting him to the fact that AFLW had been on Australian screens for two weeks.

And Pendlebury's response after receiving a bit of online advice:
Speaking on Triple M's The Hot Breakfast this morning, club president Eddie McGuire has staunchly defended his captain.
"I think you should sack Scott Pendlebury," Luke Darcy sarcastically suggested.
"I think the maximum fine is still $5,000 - I think we have to go the AFLPA to have that increased!" Eddie joked.
"It was good because the people who actually read it and understood exactly what he meant and what he was saying were happy and didn't reply, and the permanently outraged were able to be outraged so everyone was happy!
"Clearly, he was talking about the AFLX and his part of the world - the men's football team - were out in action for the first time in 2018 and he's been a very, very, very, very strong supporter of the women's football team.
"Give it a spell."
