One of the best images from the footy over the weekend was seeing Collingwood legend Peter McKenna in the stands of the Collingwood game.

Channel 7's cameras captured McKenna giving it to someone in the crowd as his Magpies began their comeback against the Hawks - and now we know who!

Speaking on Triple M's The Hot BreakfastEddie McGuire went straight to the source to find out what went on.

"I went home and watched the replay a few times, and there was that shot of Peter McKenna," Eddie said.

"So I sent him a text and asked ‘Macca, what happened?’"

"Do you wanna know who he was giving it to? He was giving it to Paul Salmon!"

"It was fantastic - former Hawthorn star. Apparently the ‘Fish’ was being a bit lippy early doors."

"It was when Roughy did that turnover that Tom Phillips intercepted and Collingwood got that goal from, and Peter McKenna’s turned around and said ‘your captain’s just turned it over - this is the turning point in this game!’"

"‘Get ready for it. Here come the Pies!’"

"This is a bloke I idolised as a kid and there he is giving it to a bloke in the stands. I loved it!"
