Immigration Minister Peter Dutton has rushed through an amendment to the Migration Act to stop Dustin Martin’s father Shane Martin and up to 20 others whose visas have been cancelled, from re-entering Australia.

The new law will keep Shane out of the country.

“What we did was passed a bill through the parliament which gave effect to the original decision," Mr Dutton said this morning on Triple M's Hot Breakfast.

“It reinforced the decision that I had made in relation to people, including Mr Martin - people who had been involved in outlaw motorcycle gangs, been involved in organised crime - some pretty nasty characters amongst them”

“It means that they won’t have the decisions overturned, and that their Visas remain cancelled so there is no change for them.”
