Kevin Sheedy has critiqued the coaching of Ross Lyon and Rodney Eade after their teams less than impressive start to the season.
“Ross Lyon, he has done unbelievably well. He averages about 10 goals 8 in the finals at St Kilda and I think it was 11 goals 9 a final at Fremantle,” Sheedy said on Triple M’s Hot Breakfast.
“So he’s probably going to coach 10 years. He’s probably the smartest coach around because he gets the best contracts and has won nothing in a decade,” Sheedy said.
“And then you’ve got Rocket Eade. He’s a genius. He hasn’t been to a Grand Final since ’96 so he’s a genius. That’s 20 years ago. So I’m not going to say much more than that,” Sheedy said.
Eddie McGuire said he hadn’t seen a clip from Sheeds that strong in a long time.
“Not since you went past and cleaned up Robert Walls have you given such a good elbow on the way through,” McGuire said.
