Shane Warne has brought up his "pet hate" with professional sport, particularly cricket, on Triple M's Hot Breakfast.
WARNIE'S PET HATE:
Warne was asked about the fortunes of the Australian cricket team at the moment, and ventured onto a part of the modern game that irritated him - and went beyond cricket.
"I think you can look at that, rather than use your brain," he said.
"I think it's a fine balance. I know people say, oh that's just old dinosaur stuff, you're living in the past, we've moved on from that.
He cited a recent example featuring Mitchell Starc from a Sheffield Shield game to back up his concerns.
"It's devaluing what Shield cricket and first-class cricket is all about," he explained.
"Either don't play or play properly. I just don't think it's right."
