Tom Hawkins has set things straight on Seb Costello's extraordinary rumour about a person with mates at Geelong who had their mortgage paid off by David and Victoria Beckham in exchange for the best room at the British Open.

SEB'S RUMOUR:

Seb came to the show with a massive rumour about someone - he named them 'Angus' - who received an extraordinary offer from David and Victoria Beckham.

They were asked to give up their prized room at the British Open with views over the 18th hole in exchange for having their mortgage paid off.

"Darce, it's quite extraordinary, to be honest," he said.

"Let me set things straight."
