Yesterday afternoon, GWS defender Heath Shaw announced to the football world that he has formally changed his name.

The Collingwood premiership winner is now a 'Lord' having purchased a piece of land in Scotland decreeing him so - and he joined The Hot Breakfast this morning to explain the process.

LISTEN TO THE LORD THIS MORNING:

"There's been a fair bit of work to get this through and just got the documentation yesterday - it's all official," Lord Shaw said.

"It's a fairly big plot of land, it's one square foot.

"We're currently in the process of looking to build on that land, too."

When asked by Eddie McGuire if he expects commentators to refer to him by his full title, Lord Shaw said that he did.

"Yeah, you do (have to refer to my title). It's going to be very interesting," Lord Shaw laughed.
