Today marks 25 years since the wildest rock gig Australia has seen.

The biggest rock’n’roll band in the world, Guns N’ Roses were finally playing Australia and we all know someone who has a story to tell from this gig.

1st February saw thousands of rock fans trek to Calder Park, in the blistering heat.

A show not to forget for a variety of reasons, Triple M’s The Hot Breakfast remembers.

Music promoter Michael Gudinski remembers with Eddie McGuire who were both there.
The angst leading up to the band taking the stage, with a temperamental Axl Rose was threatening not to come on stage.
