Ricky Ponting has copped it from Darce for that famous Channel 7 cricket promo!

DARCE GRILLS PUNTER:

Ponting, alongside the rest of Channel 7's cricket team, featuring in a promo revolving around the message "hold on, I'm coming".

The video copped plenty of media coverage for its interesting message.

Punter joined Triple M's Hot Breakfast on Wednesday morning ahead of the first Test and was grilled by Darce about the promo.

"We loved the new promo, Ricky!" he laughed.

"Did you have a sense it was going to be as popular as we found it?"

Punter found the funny side.

"The problem is, mate, I'm already here! I'm already in Adelaide!" he laughed.
