Former Triple M Hot Breakfast producer and Triple M Footy Boundary rider Sarah Faour has headed off to live in the US!
Sarah (or Sarah from Thomastown as many Hot BReakfast listeners will know her) has joined up with the Sports Where I Am team to document her journey.
We'll leave it to her to explain the rest...
I’m a sports nut from way back, so, recently, I decided to leave my job in Melbourne, Australia, and move to the centre of the universe, none other that New York City, to follow – you guessed it – sport!
I have always wanted to follow an entire NFL season, so that’s what I’m going to do! I’ll be crashing sports bars, tailgates, eating giant hot dogs and loaded cheesy chili fries (it’s a thing) and bacon on stick (that’s a thing too!) I’m really going to immerse myself in the sporting culture over here and I cannot bloody wait!
I have to be honest, I loved my job back home. I worked in radio as the Senior Producer for Triple M’s Hot Breakfast hosted by Eddie McGuire, Luke Darcy and Mick Molloy, plus I was a boundary rider for AFL games on the weekend. However, I just knew it was time for a new challenge, a new dream.
It’s a little scary leaving behind a familiar life, but I don’t want to have any regrets and I believe it’s never too late to do something you’ve always wanted to do.
So, to kick things off, please check out this short intro video we have put together.
