Sir Ian Botham Provides Ben Stokes Update On The Hot Breakfast

English cricket legend Sir Ian Botham says he is still hopeful that Ben Stokes will play in this upcoming Ashes series.

“I heard more info last night saying that they are not even sure that there is going to be any charges pressed now,” Sir Ian said on Triple M.

“So I hope that’s right. Fingers crossed. Apart from anything else this guy is just getting into his prime.

“He’s a serious player now and probably the hottest property in world cricket.”

Eddie McGuire said he hoped Stokes would make the trip to Australia: “We want to see the good blokes. Australia wants to win the Ashes by beating the best team that England can put up.”

Wil Anderson disagreed with Eddie: “We aren’t putting up our best team so why should they!”
