Triple M's Tom Browne believes Conor McKenna could be suspended for "three weeks or more" if found guilty of biting.

McKenna was sent straight to the tribunal for allegedly biting Tory Dickson on Saturday, being charged with serious misconduct.

Browne talked about the previous two charges for biting - Chris Masten and Chris Lewis - to figure out the precedent in terms of weeks.

TOM BROWNE'S LATEST ON MCKENNA, ABLETT & MORE:

Browne did say there was a "distinction" between Masten and Lewis, who were banned for two and three weeks respectively, and McKenna, in that the Bomber's incident seemed more intentional.

"It was more like an opportunistic finger-in-the-mouth munch sort of thing. This is more your Mick Fanning shark style!" he said.

"It's an interesting, serious incident. He probably should get three weeks or more.

Luke Darcy admitted the punishment should be "decent" if he is found guilty.

"If he's gone for the love bite, then there probably will be a decent sanction," he said.
