Triple M's Andrew Jarman believes Charlie Cameron will do a 180 and stay at the Crows next season.

Cameron has been seeking a trade home to Brisbane, with the clubs in discussions on what to transact with hours remaining in the trade period.

But Jars dropped some mail on Triple M's Rush Hour, saying that a heart to heart with coach Don Pyke has led Cameron to change his mind.

"He's going to be playing for the Adelaide Crows in 2018," he said on Wednesday afternoon.

"He spent some time with his senior coach playing golf, and obviously they've had a nice little chat, a bit of a heart to heart."

Jars said that conversation has turned things around.

"Charlie has flown out to Perth where his mum and dad live, so Charlie Cameron will be playing for the Adelaide Crows next year," he said.

"Well done to both parties."
