Triple M's Andrew Jarman has dropped some mail on Port Adelaide's China game, suggesting it's not just Gold Coast who have cooled on the prospect.

JARS' MAIL:

Gold Coast have pulled out of hosting Port Adelaide in the annual fixture in China, with chief executive Tony Cochrane saying at their best and fairest the club was no longer keen.

"The board have decided that to give the playing group every possible chance in the future that the trip is too onerous and too difficult," he said, according to the Gold Coast Bulletin.

"(2018) was our last foray to China."

But the unrest about the trip isn't confined to Gold Coast.

"Two Port Adelaide board members want to get out of the China deal," he told Triple M's Rush Hour with Jars and Louie.

"They're losing money at the moment, Lou."
