Match review officer Michael Christian has explained why Nic Naitanui was suspended, telling Triple M the decision was "pretty straight forward".
LISTEN TO CHRISTIAN'S EXPLANATION:
Naitanui was banned for one match for a rough tackle on Port Adelaide's Karl Amon.
It's a decision Naitanui has challenged, with the West Coast star to head to the tribunal on Wednesday.
But it's a decision Christian said was pretty simple.
"I’ve got to say, I find the tackling aspect of the role probably the most challenging," he told Triple M's Rush Hour with Jars and Louie.
"But for me, this was pretty straight forward, because the guidelines are really specific.
"The bigger players, they still have to show a duty of care."
