Triple M's Paul Roos has responded to reports Melbourne could part ways with star forward Jesse Hogan, saying the Dees shouldn't even "be entertaining" trade talks.
ROOS RESPONDS:
Reports have emerged surrounding Hogan once again, suggesting he could be on the move back to Western Australia to play for Fremantle.
This comes despite being contracted until the end of 2019 with the Demons.
Roos was quizzed about the reports on Triple M's Rush Hour with Jars and Louie, saying the Demons should be highly reluctant to part ways.
"I don't think so (they should trade him). He's a star of the competition," he told Triple M Adelaide.
"I don't think you can give (him) away. The only way you could give him away is if the offer was just far too good to refuse.
"I suspect that they wouldn't even be entertaining the conversation at all."
