Aussie tennis coach and commentator Roger Rasheed says that Nick Kyrgios will be the next Aussie to win a Grand Slam.

Speaking on The Rush Hour with Jars and Louie today, Rasheed spoke about Roger Federer’s success in last night’s Australian Open final and Bernard Tomic going into the jungle.

He also spoke about the authorities not opening the roof for the final.

On Kyrgios, he said the brash 22-year-old is realistically the best placed Australian for success.

Listen to Rasheed’s comments here:

“Realistically if we’re looking at who (can win Grand Slams), it’s Nick,” Rasheed said.

“Can he win one? Yes for sure.

“Can he win more than one? Yes he can.

“It’s just how the development pathway [goes], it’s in a good space at the moment.

“If it keeps going, we’ll probably be cheering him on in the final at some point.
