Rory Sloane has disagreed with a suggestion from Patrick Dangerfield about the length of the AFL season.

LISTEN TO SLOANE:

Dangerfield suggested on Wednesday the season was too long, eyeing off a year in which there were less games played.

The suggestion was put to Sloane on Triple M’s Rush Hour with Jars and Louie, who went the other way.

“I’d be happy to play more games, so lengthen the season,” he replied.

Sloane even backed in an NBA-style model where more games were played and quarters were shortened, which had Jars and Louie proposing a 34-game season.

“Does that mean we have less pre-season?” Sloane laughed.
