Triple M's Warren Tredrea has told all about Chad Wingard's departure from Port Adelaide, believing Port Adelaide leaders were "sick of him (and) sick of his attitude".

WARREN TREDREA TELLS ALL:

Wingard departed Port Adelaide in the 2018 trade period, with the Power receiving Ryan Burton, pick 15 and pick 35 in return.

Tredrea opened up on Triple M's Rush Hour with Jars and Louie and said there was a lot to unpack behind the scenes, believing Wingard's "attitude" was a problem.

"He's clipped Ken Hinkley, and clipped the leadership group, led by Travis Boak, that he never got any feedback," he told Triple M on Friday.

"They think this young man is telling the truth? My understanding is the leadership group were sick of him, sick of his attitude.

"He'll be a success at Hawthorn, this kid, make no mistake.

"There's always someone (at a club where) you go, jeez, he's bloody unprofessional. I think it got to that stage at Alberton for Chad Wingard.

Tredrea said it continue up until post-season, where Wingard was challenged once again.

"I can tell you post-season, when Kenny challenged him, it was toys out of the cot," he said.

"Sometimes you take your medicine, come back a week later. My understanding was he just said 'trade me'."
