Warren Tredrea has dropped some mail on the 2019 AFL fixture on Triple M's Rush Hour with Jars and Louie, believing one Victorian team's last-minute fixture request cost Adelaide and Port Adelaide a prime time Friday night Showdown.

TREDDERS' MAIL:

"I've got some info here," he told Triple M.

Tredders said his mail was the Friday night Showdown was locked in before a late fixture request from a Victorian side caused a few fixtures to be juggled around, Showdown included.

It was also part of the reason for the delay in the fixture release.

"It got removed in the last 24 hours," he said.

"They went back to the AFL and said 'can we change it?' and in the end, my understanding is the Showdown may have been shifted to the Saturday night.

"You know how I was talking about the great Saturday night? My understanding is, before the clubs were aware, it was sitting in a Friday.

"And again, we're still not seeing them on the Seven network. Well, locally you are. It's not free to air into Melbourne."
