Fremantle's Andy Brayshaw has told Triple M's Rush Hour Andrew Gaff came over to his house to apologise, an act he "really appreciated".

BRAYSHAW EXPLAINS:

Brayshaw joined Triple M's Rush Hour on Tuesday, three weeks after being punched in the jaw by Gaff.

The incident saw Brayshaw with a broken jaw and plenty of teeth damage and Gaff suspended for eight weeks, but Brayshaw told Triple M there was plenty of remorse.

"Did he come around and see the family and you?" Billy asked.

Brayshaw detailed Gaff and his family had multiple week

"He and his parents had met up with my parents the night before I flew in from Perth," he explained.

"They had some drinks and talked things out. I think they had met before at a West Coast Eagles parents night, so they sort of knew each other."

Then Gaff went around to Brayshaw's house to say sorry, face to face.

"Andrew came over to my house and just had a chat and apologised, and brought over some flowers," he said.

"I really appreciated it."
