On Monday night, Jason Dunstall made a point while On The Couch that he wasn't a fan of Patrick Dangerfield's press conference antics playing up his foot injury.
"I thought it was hilarious - to laugh at him, not with him," Chief followed up with this afternoon on Triple M's The Rush Hour.
"We all love him. But it was horribly cringe-worthy," he said.
Bill Brownless disagreed, saying he heard chuckles from the journalists in the room; or as Bill said, "smuttering and laughting."
But that's when the gloves came off...
"Now Chief - have you seen The Bounce lately?" Bill asked, referring to Dunstall's Fox Footy comedy program.
"You should be very careful, Bill," Dunstall fired back.
"Are you suggesting since we're talking cringe-worthy, Chief should know it when he sees it?" JB joked with Bill.
"Given we're nearly rating what The Footy Show is rating I wouldn't be going off if I were you," Chief said.
"I would be very careful, Bill."
Chief then went on to suggest that The Footy Show's ratings are suffering since Brayshaw departed the Channel 9 program - and JB didn't necessarily disagree.
