Triple M's Damian Barrett believes the issues that have lingered at Adelaide this season could force players to explore their trade options at the end of the year.

LISTEN TO DAMO:

The Crows scrapped Collective Minds on the weekend and have battled numerous injuries throughout the year, seeing them fall to a 6-7 record after making the grand final last season.

Barrett believes that pressure could force players to explore their options away from Adelaide.

“They’ve got a really key game (this weekend),” he said on The Mid-Week Rub on Triple M's Rush Hour with JB and Billy.

“I feel there’s a lingering component to this. (It’s) a saga that I feel will ramp up again when it comes to trade period.

“I do expect players to explore options on leaving or wanting to leave that footy club, on the back of what they’ve experienced.

"Not just in the camp, but on the general bad feel to that place that’s unfolded in 2018."
