In the wake of the Jeremy Cameron/Harris Andrews hit, Triple M's Paul Roos has proposed a rule change to soften the blow of future, similar incidents.

LISTEN TO ROOS' IDEA:

The Lions lost Andrews for the entire game on Saturday after the elbow from Cameron, which will see him face the tribunal on Tuesday night.

"I think there has to be something done," Roos told Triple M's Rush Hour.

"The AFL haven't kept up with the rule...I think there needs to be some discussion around it."

JB brought up the discussion: what if it happened in a grand final?

"Everyone will say, oh that's not going to happen," he said.

"Imagine if Geelong get in a grand final and someone king hits (Patrick Dangerfield) in the first minute and he's knocked out?"
