Sam Groth Heaps On The Praise For John Millman After Defeating Roger Federer

Sam Groth has heaped on the praise for John Millman after his historic US Open win over Roger Federer.

Millman defeated Roger Federer in one of the biggest upsets in US Open history, winning through to the quarter finals and with Novak Djokovic awaiting him.

"Wasn't everyone up and about?" he said.

"John Millman is a great tennis player who probably doesn't get the credit he deserves.

"He's just knocked off the greatest of all time.

"If you're a kid growing up here in Australia who enjoys playing tennis, have a look at this guy, because he hasn't got all the weapons in the world but he's one of the hardest workers out there."
