Sam Newman has paid tribute to Lou Richards on the Rush Hour with JB and Billy.
"He was a national treasure," Sam said on Triple M.
"He was extremely popular as you'd know but yet he was pretty insecure about his own performance, always looking for people to say that he was great.
"That was the measure of man who was naughty and impish and even devilish. That was the great thing about Lou. He never took himself too seriously."
