Craig Lowndes Quashes Reports He Was Forced Into Retirement

Craig Lowndes has been asked the retirement question for years but the 44-year-old has alway decided to plug away and keep on going behind the wheel.

However on July 6 2018 the Holden Triple Eight team member announced he would step away from the sport at the end of the 2018 season. 

Since the announcement 10 days ago, Lowndes has come under constant scrutiny with reports suggesting Lowndes was forced into retirement by his team and a number of other factors. 

Although, the six-time Bathurst 1000 winner joined Triple M's The Rush Hour with Luke, Libby and Dobbo and addressed all the rumours.
