Champion jockey Hugh Bowman has admitted that he was "a little concerned" during record-breaking Winx's last race.

The mighty mare stormed home to make it 28 straight wins at the Turnbull Stakes on Sunday despite being stuck on the inside for part of the run.

Bowman, who rode Winx to victory, joined The Rush Hour with MG ahead of the Everest this weekend when he revealed what was really going during the race.

But this Saturday isn't about Winx - for once - as 12 horses compete in the world's richest race at the much talked about Everest at Randwick Racecourse. 

Bowman is riding Brave Smash at the event, telling Triple M what the rainy weather means for his horse.
