Jackson Trengove has said claims of infighting or factions at the Western Bulldogs are "nonsense" and "talk", saying the team is united.
LISTEN TO JACKSON TRENGOVE:
Trengove joined Triple M before the Western Bulldogs/Essendon game and was quizzed about rumours about factions at the club after their winless start to the season.
It saw them in last place after two rounds, with a percentage of 48.
"That's talk," Trengove told The Sunday Rub when asked about a lack of unity at Whitten Oval.
“That’s talk. I think there is a lot of talk when you’re not going well, and that’s the thing. I think everyone understands the industry that we’re in, we’re a performance-based industry.
"As soon as you get two losses, the talk comes and comes fast."
Trengove said the team is united and know what they're trying to achieve.
“As a group, we know what we’ve got to do. We know what path we’re on as a team, and we’re going to do that together. Coaching staff, playing staff, everyone’s in it together," he said.
“I think the nonsense that’s spoken about, I think it just happens a lot in our industry. I think you’ve just got to appreciate (it) for what it is and you’ve just got to keep sticking to the structures that we’re trying to produce."
