After being forced out of football due to injury, retired Bulldog Clay Smith has opened up on how bad his knee is.
LISTEN TO CLAY:
The 25-year-old had his knee reconstructed three times in three years early in his career and suffered numerous problems since.
He joined Triple M's Winter Breakfast to talk about how much of a struggle it was, especially this year.
"(It's in) not great nick, to be honest," he said.
"Since January, I've sort of been really struggling...just struggling to put two, three running sessions together without getting some real pain, and even the next day it's the worst when I pull up."
