Get ready for stage two!

McGowan Government Will Soon Begin To Transform Bunbury Waterfront

Late last year, the reopening of Koombana Bay was just the beginning of Bunbury’s transformation.

The McGowan Labor Government completed Stage One of the $10.8 million Koombana North development including the new iconic footbridge, revamped kiosk, parking bays, an amphitheatre, wheelchair access ramps, shade areas with seating and barbecues, an accessible playground and extensive landscaping.

The project was crowned a credit to many community members and organisations, but the job isn't over.

With the Koombana Bay foreshore redevelopment complete, focus has now been turned to stage two, with the Transforming the Waterfront project to start very soon.
