A bit of push and shove isn’t uncommon in footy, but it’s rare to see it take out members of the media.

But that’s what happened in the AFLW game between Collingwood and the Western Bulldogs game in Moe today, with Fox Footy’s sideline team wiped out in a confrontation.

Collingwood’s Brittany Bonnici was dragged over the boundary in a tackle by the Dogs’ Emma Kearney, and responded by shoving her backwards into the seated Fox Footy producer.

Boundary rider Sarah Olle’s reaction is priceless — she jumps up and gets away from the conflict, but has the presence of mind to say “wowsers!” into the microphone.

The incident resulted in a 50 metre penalty to the Dogs.

The Dogs ended up winning the match, but not before the Pies game them a fright with a gutsy last quarter comeback.

The game finished 7.7 (49) to 6.5 (41) to the Doggies.
