Woodville-West Torrrens in the SANFL have somehow salvaged one of the dirtiest days you can imagine against Port Adelaide Magpies, managing rescue a game despite kicking to 0.10 (10) to three quarter time.

Post

The Eagles were goalless for the first three quarters of the game at Alberton, but managed to escape with a 2.16 (28) to 4.4 (28) draw.

The game wasn’t one for the record books, with the Magpies kicking the first two goals of the game in the first quarter, going in at 2.1 (13) to 0.1 (1) at quarter time.

After that, neither side could steer the ball between the big sticks, with Port kicking one behind in both the second and third quarters and the Eagles kicking 0.4 and 0.5 respectively.

The Magpies went in to three quarter time ahead 2.3 (15) to 0.10 (10) before both sides went on a relative goal kicking spree in the final term, with the Eagles kicking 2.1 to 2.6 to snatch a draw.

Post

Despite not kicking a goal until the last quarter, the Eagles actually won the last three of the four quarters — 0.1 v 0.4, 0.1 v 0.5 and 2.1 v 2.6.

Not sure this game will be making too many end of season highlights videos.
