Adam Treloar has explained what Nathan Buckley said to the Collingwood players when he pulled them into the rooms after singing the song.

TRELOAR EXPLAINS:

The Pies triumphed over the Tigers to win their way through to a grand final on Friday night in a massive upset.

After singing the song, Buckley pulled all the players into a room to deliver a message.

Treloar explained what he said joining Triple M's post-match coverage, saying Buckley urged the players to relish the moment.

"He said to soak this up the next 24, 48 hours, appreciate where we are and how we got here and sort of look back and look at all the hard work we've put in," he told Triple M.

But Buckley also urged them to remain circumspect.

"At the end of the day, we haven't won anything. We've got an opportunity to win it, but we haven't won anything," he said.

"Like he said, soak it up the next 24, 48 hours, come back on Monday, obviously find out who we play tomorrow, review this game, see what we can improve on and then back on the horse again.

"Next week if we can play our brand of footy longer than what either West Coast or Melbourne, it gives us a long chance to win the game.

"For now, I'm just going to enjoy this."
