Adelaide has delisted two more players ahead of the list lodgement deadline.

Veteran defender Kyle Cheney and ruckman Paul Hunter have both been cut by the club.

Cheney played 44 games for the Crows among 85 AFL games in total for Adelaide, Hawthorn and Melbourne, while Hunter failed to make his debut during his three years on the rookie list.

"At this time of year we have to make difficult decisions regarding our playing list and we wish Kyle and Paul all the best for the future,” Adelaide general manager of list management and strategy Justin Reid said.

“We have told both players that we will consider re-drafting them depending on how things unfold over the draft period.

“We head into the national draft in a strong position to bring more top young talent into the Club.

“We have great faith in our playing list and the elite learning environment we have created in recent years."
