Not a good weekend

Adelaide’s bad weekend was capped off by yesterday with their reserves team in the SANFL copping a spanking.

The Crows were mercilessly pounded by South Adelaide, who put up 22.8 (140) to Adelaide’s 4.4 (28).

The senior side only managed 4.8 (32) against Hawthorn on Saturday night, meaning both sides combined could only manage eight goals for the weekend.

There were some extenuating circumstances for the reserves, with Reilly O’Brien and Cam Ellis-Yolmen both withdrawn prior to the game, and Alex Keath, Damon Hill and Joseph Brown all injured during the match.

As a result Adelaide had to play with no bench for nearly the entire second half.
